Notorious for his beautifully crisp cut, floral embellished dreamy bomber jackets, Josh Goot comes out yet again with a stunner of a collection worthy of praise and love. Playing around with huge peony and rose prints; the Josh Goot signature look, this collection is definitely something i've been waiting for ever since the 2011 JG collection which featured bright colours and floral prints. This time, sticking with toned down cooler colours, Goot manages to elegantly portray his signature style without repeating his previous ideas; keeping it interesting as always. The bomber jackets speak to me on another level and are a must have for those chilly winter days. Larrveeee
Cameo came out with their new Translucid collection for fall 2015 a few days ago and I'm already loving pretty much every piece. Oversized trench coats and wool sweaters are the main stars of the show and the rosy prints on white backgrounds bring a pop of colour to any outfit. What I love most about the collection is that even though most of the pieces are quite summery, they can be easily paired with a nice jacket and tights; instantly transforming into a beautiful winter outfit. Available throughout select retail stores such as David Jones, Princess Polly and FashionBunker (for online shoppers) the Translucid 2015 Collection is a play on pops of bright colours combined with monochromes and detailed patterns which add a touch of individuality to any wardrobe.

One of the huge style trends of the moment making its' way onto runways, instagram accounts and dinner parties is the trend which I haven't really gotten, and actually resented, until about 2 months ago when I purchased my first piece and fell in love instantly. I present to you; the midi skirt. The midi skirt has been around when my Mum was a kid and probably even before that; I remember watching my Grandmother show off her favourite midi pencil-cut skirt to me when I was 5 years old, and I remember my mum walking out the door every day to work; each time wearing a different style of midi skirt. At the time, I thought it looked tacky, I thought it looked old, and I thought it aged people tremendously. And then a few months ago, I spotted some girls around the city rocking the midi cut skirts and I instantly fell in love and bought my first ever midi... and I have not looked back since. In fact, the midi cut skirt is now my go-to piece to throw on if I want to go out to the city, or a dinner, or even to work; it's so wearable and appropriate for any occasion and the best part about it is that there is so many different styles and different cuts that are flattering on literally any body type. The midi cut style is classic and sophisticated yet still very stylish and modern, it has the ability to transform any simple top into a dressy outfit and not be completely over the top. If you do not have a midi skirt in your wardrobe I suggest you go and buy one now because it's the new style must have of the moment and will probably never be forgotten about. Simple, elegant and classy; I'm loving the midi skirt trend and have totally adapted it into my every day wardrobe.
Whether it be at the knee or over the shin, crisp cut, tulled at the bottom or hanging loosely off the body, on classic leather or elegant lace, with unique pattern to colour combinations or simple bold colours; the midi skirt is a style trend that has and will always be a classical piece lasting through the ages, able to be worn by both the young and the mature.
For girls that are looking for a perfect midi skirt to add to their wardrobe I suggest styles from Zimmermann, Scanlan Theodore, Finderskeepers, Topshop and Cameo. Making it's way through fashion weeks all over the world and appearing on the streets of Brisvegas, the midi skirt is a style which I am thoroughly in love with and suggest for every girl to invest in.
For hourglass figures: I suggest pencil cut skirts
For sporty figures: A-line skirts are the way to go
For apple-shaped figures: A-line skirts
For pear- shaped figures: Tulled skirts are awesome for you
