Zimmermann Resort 2015 is all about the elegant lace, boho patterns and crisp-cut midi skirts; a collection that reminds me of the beach, a girls night out and an elegant dinner date all in one. Versatility plays a huge role with this collection as pieces have the ability to be worn with both dressy complimentary garmets or casual attire and still keep the look highly flattering on a lot of different body types, which i thoroughly admire. Loose-fitted harem midi pants give any look a modern and sophisticated touch and also work well with girls who are conscious of their legs and thigh area and want to cover them up without dying in the heat this summer; a great piece to have in your wardrobe for those days where leg showing is a no no. Midi skirts are a definite style-must have this summer and have been featured in a number of collections for the season and I must admit that Zimmermann takes the prize for the most crisp-cut, unique and elegant midi skirts. Whether it be flared out at the shin or casually hanging down the body; the midi skirts give a touch of youth and elegance to any look and paired with a pair of high heeled boots can transform into a very modern and chic look thats' very in right now.
The colours for this collection perfectly compliment the style of this summers' Zimmermann line, as whites give elegance, blues, hued greens and gold-toned nudes adds a boho-esque touch and the ever so loved monochromatic black and wine red bring a classic and crisp feel. Lace decals on harem pants, midi skirts and loose fitted shirts bring me back to my lace-obsessed times (we've all been there people) and the amazingly detailed floral patterns onto baby pinks have me swooning over the pieces and wishing they were all mine right at this moment. Perfect for this summer (and complimentary to the heat), the flowy and light materials will keep you cool,refreshed yet still highly stylish and ready to go out looking amazeballs. No muscle tanks and thongs needed here, people.

Zimmermann has gone out of their way, stepped out of the comfort zone of the typical Triangl inspired minimalistic, barely there swimwear and instead opted for a detailed, fairy-like swimwear collection that will have all heads turning and you feeling like a pretty princess/fairy/goddess on the beach at all costs. Combining lace with mesh, bold simplistic colours with complimentary statement pieces and still keeping it down to earth and not over the top is quite hard and yet Zimmermann has nailed it 100% and I am in love.
My favourite pieces from this collection include the Essence Silk Veil Dress, Trinity Tapestry playsuit, Trinity Scallop Skirt and the Riot Suspend Midi.
Even though this collection is perfect for this summer time, the pieces can still be easily layered on top of with a nice fur jacket or trench coat and thus still be wearable in the winter. Calling the boho inside every girl, Zimmermann has the perfect look you need this summer and can be flattering on pretty much anyone. Love love love.
