Hey guys, welcome to the first post of my blog!
I have (after much consideration and procrastination) have decided to start a blog (once again) that will allow me to write about my many obsessions, loves and interests.
This blog will mainly feature me rambling, obsessing over and discussing various fashion trends, labels, collections and demands as well as posting about monthly favourites and awesome new fashion and beauty finds. Keeping the every-day life happenings to my insta account, I'm hoping to make this blog solely fashion and beauty oriented!
For those of you who don't know, I have been very into fashion, trends and literally any girly thing since I was about 8 years old and have always been fascinated by fashion runway shows, magazine shoots and beauty youtube videos. Over the last few years, this fascination has grown into a daily love that I choose to immerse myself in; I enjoy looking at and being kept up to date with all things fashion related in the world. Making this blog was a big decision for me, as i'm not that good at keeping things up to date nor am I the most motivated person, and it took me a while to convince myself that some people will actually read this blog and i'm not just sitting there wasting my time; however in the end I decided to just create it and see how it goes.
Manning Cartell Marigold SS 14.15
Manning cartell is my favourite Australian designer, period. If I had infinite amounts of spending money, I would buy all of Manning Cartell's collections twice over just because I love every piece they came out with. Their Marigold collection combines soft pinks, whites and oranges to perfectly match 2015's colour of the year Marsala, as announced by Pantone earlier this month (click here to read more) and apart from being utterly obsessed with all shades of pink, the reason why I might as well make love to this collection right now, is because the clothes themselves are crisp, polished, modern yet edgy, and not to mention very good quality (i have had the honour of seeing and touching this collection in store)
Ah, you've stolen my heart yet again, Manning Cartell.
Scanlan Theodore Summer 2014
Scanlan Theodore is a brand thats classic, timeless, sophisticated yet still manages to be fashion forward in every way- and that's why I love it so much. Every collection release is amazingly beautiful; combining crisp, classical and simple cuts with soft colours to create that look that can be worn both on a night out and a day to the shops. The best thing that I enjoy about this collection is the diversity: it can be worn by both the young and old and I'm constantly mesmerised at how Scanlan Theodore always manages to pull that aspect off... amazeballs. This collection is no exception and and i'm absolutely in love with the simpleness yet edginess of all the pieces, and can we please talk about the prints seen throughout this collection??!! The baby/dark blue circles on white gives the pieces a modern and edgy feel, the baby pink florals on white allows for some youthful elegance whilst the blue/white flowers combined with a bright red background instantly makes a piece sophisticatedly cool. I think i'm in heaven with this collection.

Zimmermann Swim&Resort 2015
The best part about working in the city is the fact that my shop is literally across the road from the Zimmermann Stores.. which means I get too oogle at the awesome collections and serve the girls that work there daily coffees and simultaneously check out their beautiful outfits. And then i get insanely jealous at the fact that they get to immerse themselves in the world of fashion and of course; the new ZImmermann swim&resort 2015 collection. Not only am i loving their swimwear line for this year (which I have not featured above.. sorry) but the clothes ooze that effortless boho girly feel which is so so in for this summer. Fresh floral prints and a heap of lace, I think i'm reverting back to my 14 year old self with my floral and lace obsession but this time it's never looked so good.
Cameo Platform Collection
I feel as though every time Cameo comes out with a new collection, the world has to stop and stare for a bit because their pieces are just sooooo freaking goooooooood. I found out about Cameo a few years back whilst wandering through David Jones and I have been in love with it since; I have witnessed countless collections which have blew my mind and sent me into hyperventilation and envy mode…. I don't even remember how many times I've walked past Cameo and felt the need to buy their amazing shorts. Cameo, you were awesome once, you are awesome again, and you will always be awesome. The huge knots and trims combined with simple colours screams modern, and the sheer work that each piece undergoes to achieve perfection can be seen- and I admire the designers for that. My fave piece definitely has to be the 'No Advice Skirt' (pictured centre and front left) and I just love how there are several mini collections within the collection. Love.
The Fifth Label The Collector
I only recently found out about the fifth label and must I say, I totally adore it. Apart from actually being affordable, the quality, style and array of different colours are just some of the perks of this awesome brand. The new collection that came out for this summer season combines florals with basic colour tones and i'm in loooveeeeeeeee, especially with the floral bustier (pictured above). Everything in this collection as I said is pretty affordable ranging from $50-$120 so if y'all are on a budget but still want to look fabulous, this is the brand to go.

Josh Goot Resort 15
I love Goot's stuff; especially his fabulous jackets, and this collection is no exception. Goot always manages to perfectly combine neon with basic, modern with classic, and quirky yet sophisticated. The resort 15 collection, although quite minimalistic compared to previous collections, still has pops of neon colours and fantastic fabrics that blow minds away. If only I could be able to witness the greatness in store I would probably be able to tell you that the clothes are all 100% there in quality, but I'm sure all of you can see that even from the pics. my fave piece is definitely the outfit pictured top right.
Bec & Bridge Due North Summer 2014
Strangely enough, Bec &Bridge is one of those labels that I never really run to or go cray cray over the minute I hear about a new collection release... and then I hit myself for doing so because once I DO actually have a wander into it I realise that every piece is amazingly beautiful and so so detailed. The Due North collection released for Summer 2014 features subtle grey and white stipes on bold, asymmetrical pieces combined with statement pieces of cool yellows and blue-greys. This collection is classic, edgy yet still smart and appropriatey. My favourite piece is the Trailblazer Skirt (pictured centre) that I can already see is pretty much flattering on any body shape, which is always a plus.
Staple the Label Aurora Resort 14
Recently I've been seeing myself really loving midi cut skirts/dresses in monochrome colours and staple the label really confirmed this obsession with their Aurora Resort collection for 2014. Much like other collections from other labels, this collection features various different looks and prints within the same collection which I think is a really good way to bring diversity to the brand and cater to more tastes at one. Featuring baby pinks, a hint of floral and stripes as well as the classic monochrome in one collection is a good step for staple, and I'm loving all of their variations. Flowy pyjama-like garments and loose long dresses are the next big thing and i'm absolutely in love. Midi skirts combined with simple singlets and t-shirts help tone down the 'dressiness' of the body-hugging attire and bring a cool edge to the outfit, and the white on white combinations are to die for.
Finders Keepers The Harvest
As soon as I saw these babies in store I knew I would be dreaming about the collection day in day out... and I wasn't wrong. Bulky floral print on dark blue background gives a new feel to the classic floral look, the high turtle-neck no-sleeve cuts give the illusion of wider and broader shoulders whilst still keeping it feminine, and the tartan print finders keepers is most famous for shows an appearance yet again, this time in a cooled down black and white and black and blue version which I admire a bit more than their previous collections colour combos. Needless to say, I can see myself wearing pretty much every piece from this collection.
